That's so sad.

When I did grand jury duty we heard a case in which some idiot started a police chase when he was being pulled over - it went through several towns and involved both high speed car chase and foot chase through woods and across a busy highway. There had to be about 40 charges we were asked to decide on (for comparison, most other cases we heard had 3 or 4 charges MAX ...) and the list of citations they hit him with included one for having something dangling from the rearview mirror. :) After we returned a true bill on every single charge the prosecutor and officer stuck around to answer some of our curiosity questions (prosecutor made it kind of fun for us - I missed it when I was done!) and the officer confirmed that yes, they had hit the books to find every single charge that could even remotely apply to this idiot. He deserved all of them and its too bad there weren't more - he put a lot of people in danger that day and tied up the police.

Police have radios, souped up cars and better lay of the land than you - what possesses anyone to think they are going to get away? Even if they get away in the moment, the cops will find you ... and they are going to be PISSED you made them chase you!

She died trying to avoid a speeding ticket. What a waste.

I'll bet she died avoiding a DUII. Also a waste.

I'm glad no one else got hurt. Hard to have much sympathy for her when she was willing to put a bunch of innocent bystanders at risk.

I like the fact that The police officer kept a level head. You can tell the officers were well trained to a lay person like myself.
